Sharon has worked in a diverse spectrum of positions supporting Primary Care and Speciality since beginning in health in 1996. To strengthen her knowledge and business understanding Sharon completed her MBA as a mature aged student at Southern Cross University in 2006. Since 2013 Sharon has been employed by the Brisbane South Primary Health Network. During this time Sharon has supported general practices in areas such as Digital Health, wholistic support, training, COVID response and Quality Improvement. She is passionate about championing general practice to help improve health outcomes and has a solid understanding of the complexities and challenges that those in general practice face on a day to day basis. Sharon shows her passion for health outside of work by playing an active role in Coeliac Australia for the past 8 years.
