As well as being National Clinical Lead for CPD at the RACGP, David is Senior Medical Officer with Queensland Health delivering a skin cancer surgery service at Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital. He is also in private practice at Fig Tree Medical Maleny, and he Chairs the Sunshine Coast Health Institute (a joint venture between Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, TAFE Qld, Griffith University and University of the Sunshine Coast). Prior, David was Deputy Vice Chancellor at Macquarie University, Sydney for 8 years and was Dean of Medicine at UQ for 8 years.
