Karen Connaughton has extensive experience in postgraduate and higher education, particularly general practice education and assessment. She has worked in education consultancy and leadership positions for the ACTE group and ACRRM. Karen came to the RACGP in early 2020 as the Manager of Assessment Innovation and is currently the Head of CPD. Karen has developed the 2023 RACGP CPD Standards and successfully integrated the new CPD changes for the 2023-2025 Triennium as mandated by the Australian Medical Board.
