Dr Rachael O'Rourke


Dr Rachael O'Rourke is an Australian radiologist specialising in cardiothoracic CT and MRI. She is the Director of Medical Imaging at the Prince Charles Hospital, which is a specialist cardiothoracic hospital and the largest of its type in Queensland, performing a high volume of chest imaging including cardiac CT and cardiopulmonary MRI examinations. Her main focus for diagnostic work, teaching and research involves CT and MRI imaging of the heart and lungs, particularly with respect to congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension, including supervision of advanced training positions in cardiac CT and MRI.

Dr O'Rourke holds level B accreditation with the RANZCR Conjoint Committee for CT coronary angiogram reporting and is a RANZCR accredited provider for Cardiac MRI reporting. She is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computer Tomography (SCCT), Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and Pulmonary (SCMR) and Pulmonary Hypertension Society of Australia and New Zealand (PHSANZ).
