Imaging tests that reflect current evidence based best practice
Session Plan:
This session will invite a panel of speakers to present on evidence based indications for imaging, with a focus on the role of CT imaging for cardiac risk assessment, imaging for assessment in urgent medical presentations, and an exploration of new and evolving approaches to imaging. The panel will be available for questions following their presentations.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify the role of CT coronary calcium scoring in cardiac risk assessment;
2. Identify the role of the CT coronary angiogram in cardiac symptom assessment;
3. Identify management approaches for acute presentations based on community outpatient imaging availability
