Unexpected deterioration of the older person

This webinar will explore the triggers, prevention and pathways available for support or treatment of older adults in the community. It will also review some aspects of delirium and frailty and new initiatives aimed at prevention of hospital admissions.

  3. Recognise early manifestations of cognitive impairment as a marker of deterioration in the older adult

Dr Steph Daly

Dr Daly is a GP specialist in dementia. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and completed post-graduate training in Dementia Studies at the University of Bradford (UK). Since moving to Australia she has become an advocate for patients living with dementia and facilitated her practice to becoming one of the first dementia-friendly, and Dementia Australia approved, GP clinics in Australia. Dr Daly established and coordinates the Dementia Subgroup of RACGP Specific Interests Aged Care.
