RACGP Specific Interests Sport and Exercise Medicine in conjunction with parkrun Australia is holding a series of information and networking events across Australia.

The event will include presentations from a parkrun representative and GP advocates of its use.

CPR Workshop - Eatons Hill - Sunday 4 August 2019

This two-hour workshop, facilitated by BLS First Aid, will incorporate HLTAID001 'Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation' in accordance with the 2016 ARC Guidelines.

This workshop will cover:

  • DRSABCD Action Plan
  • management of the breathing, unresponsive casualty
  • management of the non-breathing, unresponsive casualty
  • resuscitation of an adult, child and infant
  • introduce the use of a defibrillator.

GPs who attend this workshop will meet the CPR requirement for the 2017-19 QI&CPD triennium.


*Please note: To complete assessment of CPR you must be physically able to perform two minutes of continuous CPR on the floor. If you are unable to do so due to physical limitations, please contact us to discuss your options to meet your CPR requirement.

RACGP Queensland's Fellowship and Awards Ceremony is a highlight on the annual calendar as we recognise and celebrate the achievements of our GPs. Eligible new Fellows (received Fellowship between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019) and award winners will receive an invitation via email outlining registration details.
