RACGP QLD New Fellows - Member Meet-ups and Zoom Networking

The next in the series of informal RACGP Queensland New Fellows Committee zoom networking and catch-up sessions will be on Monday 31 May 2021 at 7.00pm.

This member meet-up will feature guest speaker Dr Tony Bayliss (Practice owner, QLD Faculty Council member, and PHN Board Chair) following by "breakout room roulette" where you can move between virtual breakrooms hosting different conversations.

If you're a GP within your first five years of Fellowship, this casual format will offer you the chance to discuss, meet, chat and share experiences on a broad range of work and non-work related topics with your peers from around the corner and across the state.

Location: Online (Zoom)
Cost: Free but registration essential. Note numbers are capped so register early to avoid disappointment.

Meet Your RACGP President and RACGP Queensland Council

Dr Bruce Willett, RACGP Queensland Chair and RACGP Vice-President, invites RACGP Queensland members to a meet and greet with the RACGP President, Dr Karen Price and Queensland Council. This cocktail-style evening is a special networking event, giving you the chance to connect with your college representatives and fellow members and discover how you can become more involved in RACGP initiatives.

Introduction To Point-of-care Ultrasound - Toowoomba, QLD

The 'Introduction to point-of-care ultrasound for GPs' workshop is designed to support rural GPs to increase their understanding of the applications of point-of-care ultrasound in the diagnostic process. The training is delivered by rural GPs, emergency physicians and sonographers who are experienced in using ultrasound in their practice environment.

The workshop is a CPD Accredited Activity under the RACGP CPD Program (eligible for 40 points) and is approved for all categories of the Rural Procedural Grants Program.

The workshop runs from 8.30am to 4.30pm and will be offered to RACGP members at $695 (incl. GST) and to non-members for $995 (incl. GST). Thanks to the generosity of the Dr Bruce Roberts Bequest, RACGP Queensland is offering RACGP members working or living in a Queensland MMM3 to MMM7 area the heavily discounted registration rate of $50. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
