United Friendly Societies (UFS) Dispensaries was formed in 1880 and still exists today. UFS membership is available to anyone for a small annual fee and confers benefits such as discounted products and services across a range of mainly health related businesses. To ensure that AFS dispensaries were managed to high ethical standards, comprehensive rules and regulations had to be followed. This small booklet details the rules for the South Melbourne UFS Dispensary at at 1921.
