Receipt for surgeon's consultation

Receipt, and related document / statement, from 1951 for surgeon’s consultation issued by the practice of Dr Alex Juett and Mr McKellar Hall of 224 St.George’s Terrace Perth for the amount of two pounds and two shillings (two guineas). Receipt includes a one penny stamp over-written by hand with date of receipt – this was known as a revenue stamp which indicates a government tax or fee (stamp duty) for the payment.
