Dr Amer Gilani

I have been working as a General Practitioner for more than 25 years. I worked as GP in different countries and experienced diverse cultures.

I started in Pakistan which is where I did my graduation in 1992 and I worked in a hospital initially and then moved to general practice. After a few years in Pakistan, I moved to Saudi Arabia and continued working as a General Practitioner for almost 11 years before I decided to move to Australia in 2012.

Since October 2012 I have been working in a general practice in Victoria. Most of the time I have worked in rural areas such as a few years in Shepparton, then Kangaroo Flat, and Morwell till June 2021 when I moved to Montrose and started practicing there.

I have always been involved and happy to provide orientation and training to the newly joining Doctors.
