Dr Pallavi Sharma

Dr Pallavi Sharma is a highly respected General Practitioner and Cosmetic Physician with over 25 years of clinical experience, practising in Melbourne across Carnegie and Mulgrave. She is an active member of the RACGP Victorian Faculty and previously served as Co-Chair of the Women in General Practice (WIGP) Committee, contributing to leadership, advocacy, and policy input within the profession.

Dr Sharma is the Founder of the Indian Medical and Dental Association (IMDA), a professional network comprising over 600 health practitioners of Indian origin, including doctors, dentists, nurses, and allied health professionals. She is deeply committed to community education and regularly delivers pro bono lectures to raise awareness on key public health issues, including autism, dementia, weight management, men’s and women’s health, and cancer prevention.

She completed her MBBS in India in 1985 and later qualified through GAMSAT at the University of Queensland in 1999. Her postgraduate training includes a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM) and a Diploma in Obstetrics, with her Diploma in Nutrition (ACNEM) currently nearing completion.

Beyond medicine, Dr Sharma has contributed to public engagement through media and advocacy initiatives, including appearing in a Bollywood film in 2018 and serving as the face of the RACGP “Face of GP” campaign in 2019.
