Dr Alyssa Vass is a Rural Generalist who has worked in almost every State and Territory of Australia. As a true generalist, she has worked with urban, regional and remote communities and has a special interest in women’s health, mental health, procedural skin medicine, forensic medicine, and alcohol and other drugs. She also has a decades-long career in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health with a breadth of clinical, education, policy, research and community roles. She has been a co-opted member of the RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Education Committee for a number of years, and in 2025, was appointed as the Victorian Representative on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Council as a passionate ally.
