Rural Generalist Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

  1. Do you hold unconditional medical registration in Australia? 
  1. Are you a fellow of the RACGP? 
  1. Do you either: 
  1. Hold a relevant qualification and currency in line with the ARST curriculum? OR  
  1. Have a minimum 3 years providing advanced skills in rural community OR 
  1. Hold the FARGP with evidence of current practice in your ARST skill? OR 
  1. Hold FRACGP and FACRRM by assessment? 
  1. Have you either 
  1. Completed at least 12 months of community general practice in an MMM3-7 location within the past 5 years? OR  
  1. Have equivalent rural and remote experience aligned with this requirement? 
  1. Are you currently: 
  1. Providing emergency services unsupervised in a rural location OR  
  1. Able to demonstrate how you meet the core EMT curriculum? 

If you answered yes to the above, you may be eligible to gain the RG fellowship through the RPLE pathway.
