RACGP Rural aged care survey

Last updated 24 October 2019

Background

RACGP Rural conducted an Aged Care survey of members on 3 February 2016 to examine the extent of, and demand for, GP led aged care services in rural and remote communities.

The survey results formed part of the RACGP’s March 2016 submission to the Senate Community Affairs Committee Aged Care Inquiry: Future of Australia's aged care sector workforce.

RACGP Rural would like to acknowledge the 450+ rural GPs who prioritised their time to participate in this survey. The input of our members ensure our contribution to rural health policy remains well targeted and can address their needs and their patients’ needs.
