About the journal

The Australian Journal of Rural Health (AJRH) is a multidisciplinary refereed journal published six times a year by the National Rural Health Alliance (NRHA) and is free for RACGP members.

RACGP Rural is proud to be a member of the NRHA

The NRHA is the peak non-government organisation for rural and remote health in Australia, comprising member bodies representing health professionals, service providers, consumers, educators and researchers.

The NRHA is involved with a number of initiatives on rural health workforce reform, including analysis of the Mason Report and ongoing contributions to activities led by Health Workforce Australia.

It has a vision for good health and wellbeing in rural and remote Australia, with the specific goal of equal health for all Australians by 2020.
