Recognition of Extended Skills (RES-FRACGP) formally recognises RACGP Fellows who have developed advanced expertise in specific areas of general practice.

RES-FRACGP is not a qualification or award—it’s a recognition of your commitment to professional growth and your contribution to meeting evolving patient and community needs.

Eligible Fellows will:

Be a current financial member in good standing with RACGP.
Have received RACGP Fellowship at least five years before applying.
Hold the specialty of general practice on their medical registration with Ahpra.
Have no restrictions on practice.
Have no current or pending investigations by Ahpra.
Practice as a GP in Australia
