2026 Goals & Objectives — GPiT Wellbeing Committee

2026 PRIORITY AREAS

  1. Providing additional registrar resources and streamlining ease of access.
  2. Connecting and supporting registrars that are educationally, logistically and locationally vulnerable.
  3. Ensuring focus on racism, bullying and harassment.

GOAL 1

Identify/monitor priority action areas for the RACGP and develop annual workplan with objectives/initiatives mapped to EDES Framework and RACGP framework.

Regularly review internal and external evaluations, data, and existing resources to assist in identifying/monitoring priority action areas for the RACGP.

Invite contribution from subject-matter experts where necessary to guide/inform Committee action.

GOAL 2

Provide a structured opportunity for the development of ideas, initiatives and recommendations to improve or assist the safety and wellbeing of GPiT, ensuring balanced representation.

Ensure Committee membership represents depth and breadth of GP training.

Ensure the Committee is recognised and valued by all registrars and they have an opportunity to contribute.

GOAL 3

Internal/external engagement and communication to promote, support, and/or advocate for Committee initiatives and recommendations.

Regularly present Committee ideas, initiatives and recommendations to the RACGP Board.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness of Committee priority areas, action and progress.
