The RACGP and  is committed to growing the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander GP workforce and the RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health provides dedicated support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander:

  • candidates applying for RACGP’s AGPT Program
  • registrars working towards RACGP Fellowship
  • Growing Strong Award
  • educational activities
  • webinars and workshops
  • guidelines and resources

The faculty also has established its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander GPs in training Support Working Group which undertakes a range of activities dedicated to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and GPs in training throughout their general practice training journey.

As a Censor, Dr O’Donoghue plays a vital role in supporting all GPs in training as they progress to Fellowship, and is responsible for maintaining the standards, fairness and integrity of the RACGP Fellowship program.
