Bowral GP Dr Tess van Duuren appointed RACGP Acting Censor-in-Chief
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is delighted to announce Bowral based GP, Dr Tess van Duuren, has been appointed to the role of Acting Censor-in-Chief (CIC) until October 2020.
Dr van Duuren who has been Acting CIC since October 2019, has played a leading role in the RACGP’s response to COVID-19, particularly its impact on GPs in training and their progression toward Fellowship with the RACGP.
Dr van Duuren is committed to supporting flexible solutions for GPs as they care for their communities through COVID-19, while ensuring RACGP standards are maintained.
The RACGP is delighted Dr van Duuren will continue in the role. Her energy, dedication and focus on supporting RACGP membership while she has been Acting CIC have been exceptional.
