The 2023 ceremony is for New Fellows ratified between 11 July 2022 to 24 February 2023 and invited New Fellows that were unable to attend the 2022 ceremony.

RACGP Victoria's CPR course is a GP peer to peer experience, delivered by a GP trainer, Dr Rod Campaign. This course covers recognition of an emergency, DRSABCD, chest compressions and rescue breathing using COVID-safe resuscitation masks and equipment.

It also includes a structured approach that GPs can use to treat all patients who may have a life threatening illness.

Introduction To Point-of-care Ultrasound - Toowoomba, QLD

The 'Introduction to point-of-care ultrasound for GPs' workshop is designed to support rural GPs to increase their understanding of the applications of point-of-care ultrasound in the diagnostic process. The training is delivered by rural GPs, emergency physicians and sonographers who are experienced in using ultrasound in their practice environment.

This full-day workshop will give participants the opportunity to identify practical applications of ultrasound technology in general practice settings and gain hands-on experience in the use of point of care ultrasound devices under the guidance of experts.

The workshop is a CPD Accredited Activity under the RACGP CPD Program (eligible for 10 hours - 5 hours Education Activity and 5 hours Reviewing Performance).

The workshop runs from 8.30am to 4.30pm and will be offered to RACGP members at $695 (incl. GST) and to non-members for $995 (incl. GST). Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Skin Cancer

This seminar will provide training and guidance to GPs on the use of dermatoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. It will also present correlation of the dermatoscopic features of skin lesions and the corresponding histological findings. There will be discussion on the diagnosis of early stage melanoma and some common mimics of skin cancer found in skin cancer medicine.
