The Jillaroo hat is Australian made and hand crafted from cow hide suede. The hat comes with either a Bush Banana or Walkabout scarf around the crown. The leather has a UPF 50+ rating and is water resistant making it great for all weather.

Bush Banana is a climbing woody vine found growing on other shrubs and trees. Its flowers are creamy in colour. Bush banana is a potent plant to Aboriginal people and the extract and paste of leaves are often used as a natural remedy. Donna Abbot is an experienced and skillful artist from Alice Springs, Northern Territory. Her usage of colour and design makes her work unique.
Walkabout scarf by Karen Taylor
Karen Taylor is a Yankunytjatjara - Lurija/Adnyamanthananha-Arabana aboriginal lady from the Northern Territory and South Australia. She painted her Walkabout design when she was 21 years of age and living in Alice Springs. From a very young age Karen has had a passion for art. This is through growing up and watching elders creating their artwork in different ways. Karen still paints today.
