Several states and territories have announced that masks will no longer need to be worn in most indoor settings.
However, this update does not apply to healthcare settings. Each state and territory have their own regulations on face masks in healthcare settings (including general practices). You should check local requirements before creating policies on face masks. The RACGP Infection prevention and control guidelines provides guidance on the use of PPE, including face masks.
The RACGP has developed a suite of posters that you can display at your practice entrance to inform visitors of the entry requirements.
