Marketing is the promotion of a business, products or services. Common forms of marketing include advertising, websites, and social media.
Marketing also includes the image a business portrays (whether intended and unintended), which influences a potential client’s perspective of a business and its products and services. Each time a patient or potential patient interacts with your business, this is a form of marketing, whether or not the marketing is performed consciously or unconsciously.
One approach to marketing is to consider the ‘five Ps’:
