Module 3 – Recovery | Evaluate and record your learnings
After an emergency or disaster, it is important to evaluate your practice’s response. Doing so will support continued recovery, build further confidence within your team and improve future outcomes.
A post-emergency evaluation should assess relevance and success of each section of your emergency response plan response activities and identify lessons learned for planning, response, and recovery.
Take action
Once you are in a position to do so, consider and evaluate your emergency response. Take time to:

review the event,

identify strengths and weaknesses in your response, and

implement changes within your emergency response plan and team member training to improve future outcomes.
