RACGP Membership rates 2022-23

Australian registered GP working 20 hours or more per week.

GP who is not currently in active clinical general practice; a specialist practising predominately in hospitals; or a medical practitioner employed in other health sector fields.

GP who is on parental or extended sick leave and who does not intend to practise during the financial year.

Practising GP who is aged 70 years or older.

Medical practitioner who holds valid overseas medical registration and resides overseas.

Medical practitioner who holds valid Australian medical registration and resides overseas for the majority of the financial year.

Medical practitioner residing in Australia but has not yet obtained medical registration in Australia.

A medical practitioner who is enrolled in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program, the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS)or the Practice Experience Program (PEP).

Medical practitioner who holds valid International medical registration in Fiji, Hong Kong or Malaysia and resides overseas.

GP who has permanently retired from general practice. This excludes access to the RACGP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program.

Resident or intern who may be considering a career in general practice and is working in a hospital. This excludes access to the RACGP CPD Program.

Currently enrolled in a medicine program approved under the National Law. Student upgrade members will receive a hardcopy subscription to the official RACGP medical journal, Australian Journal of General Practice. This excludes access to the RACGP CPD Program.
