As of July 1st this year, new Ahpra guidelines and rules relating to cosmetic surgery became live. There has been much confusion in the media about requirements for both practitioners and patients, in particular relating to referrals. Also, as of September 1st this year revised guidelines relating to telehealth will come into force. We touch on this topic as well.
