Women in Leadership webinar: Becoming Media Savvy - Telling Better Stories

Webinar 27 May, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (AEST)

Women in Leadership webinar will kick off their 2025 webinar series with a session focused on media skills and the power of story-telling.

This session will explore:

• What makes a compelling story

• How stories are selected and why some stand out

• The role of spokespeople and how they’re prepared

• How to structure a story with purpose and pitch it effectively

• Developing a sharper lens for the content you read or watch

Led by the RACGP expert media team, this session is designed to build your confidence in navigating media — whether you're crafting stories for publication, speaking as a representative, or simply sharpening your storytelling skills as a leader.

Even if you're not planning to appear on TV or radio, many of you contribute to publications, reports, and communications — and this session will offer insights relevant to all those spaces.

Please note: This webinar will not be available for later viewing.
