Delayed food reactions in infants; CMPA, FPIES and more
Webinar 11 Jun, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM (AEST)
This webinar provides a concise, evidence-based overview of non-IgE mediated food allergies in infancy, focusing on cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA), food protein-induced allergic proctocolitis (FPIAP), and food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES).
Key topics include:
• Clinical presentations across CMPA, FPIAP, and FPIES
• Differentiating features and spectrum of disease
• Structured approach to assessment and diagnosis
• Use of elimination diets and monitoring response
• Timing and approach to reintroduction
• Indications for specialist referral
• Common pitfalls, including overdiagnosis and unnecessary dietary restriction
Designed for primary care clinicians, this session aims to support accurate diagnosis, reduce variability in care, and promote safe, practical management aligned with current evidence.
