Dr Geordie Beath is a Rural GP Anaesthetist based in Clare, South Australia, with extensive experience across general practice, anaesthesia, emergency medicine, and pre-hospital emergency care. Passionate about rural healthcare and medical education, Dr Beath has a strong interest in trauma management, emergency response, and supporting clinicians in regional and remote settings. Dr Beath has also contributed to the development of the RACGP’s new Emergency and Trauma Curriculum, helping to shape the future training of Australian GPs in emergency and trauma care.
Dr William Davies
Dr William Davies is an Emergency Physician and currently serves as the Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine for the Clarence Valley in Northern New South Wales.
His diverse medical career has taken him to some of the world’s most challenging and remote environments. Dr Davies has worked as a medical officer at ski fields in New Zealand and the Indian Himalayas, led a pre-hospital combat crash rescue team in Afghanistan, provided medical support in Northern Iraq during the ISIS conflict, spent five years practising in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, and worked across intensive care, retrieval medicine and emergency medicine in Central Australia.
Dr Davies holds postgraduate qualifications in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine, as well as High Altitude and Mountain Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine and an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Venom Research Unit.
