Dr Rachel Kalman
GP Adviser at InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders
Dr Kalman obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Sydney in 2013 and worked at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Paediatrics for a year prior to switching to General Practice training (obtaining GP Fellowship in 2019).
She enjoys all the variety that General Practice offers and feels privileged to be looking after families and the Five Dock community. Dr Kalman has worked at a Headspace centre prior to moving to My Family Doctors and also has another role as a GP Adviser at InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders through Sydney university. She also enjoys supervising medical students from the university of Notre Dame.
Dr Sean Stevens
Principal GP and practice owner at Next Practice
Dr Sean Stevens has been a GP for over 20 years, 18 of them as a practice owner. Sean’s previous practice was awarded the Australian General Practice of the Year and Sean has been awarded the Australian GP Supervisor of the Year. Sean has supervised over 30 doctors in their training to become specialist GPs.
Sean is the immediate-past Chair of the WA Faculty of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the peak body representing 4,000 GPs in WA.
Sean’s interests include men’s mental health, worker’s compensation and work injuries, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, haemochromatosis and skin.
When not at work, Sean loves socialising, spending time with his family, and travel.
