Public Fertility Care is a Victorian government-funded fertility treatment option, including IVF, for the 1 in 6 people affected by infertility. The service aims to make it easier and fairer to access treatment. Public Fertility Care is free and waiting lists are low. An estimated wait-time for a first appointment is 4-8 weeks. In this webinar, clinical experts from the Women’s will provide GPs with practical knowledge about how to investigate infertility in primary care and when to refer patients on for specialist services.
Anita Muñoz is a GP in private practice in Melbourne's CBD and has a dedication to evidence-based medicine, lifelong learning, and promoting the role of general practice in the health of patients, communities and in public health more broadly.
