Preventing subsequent events in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) – PATIENT REVIEW

On-demand recorded 30 May 2023

This webinar is the third of a series of three webinars focussing on preventing subsequent events in patients with ASCVD. The webinars will progress through the topics of Identify, Optimise, and Review to educate GPs to proactively identify high-risk patients for secondary prevention. Patients with ASCVD such as patients with a history of acute coronary syndrome, stroke, and/or coronary revascularisation are at highest risk of a subsequent event and are candidates for secondary prevention. Participants will be educated on modifiable risk factors such as cholesterol, blood pressure, and diabetes including appropriate targets from national and international guidelines.
