Professor of Physical Activity and Health
Anne Tiedemann, PhD, is Professor of Physical Activity and Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. Over the past 20 years Professor Tiedemann has led research exploring the design and evaluation of low cost, sustainable strategies for preventing falls and increasing physical activity for people aged 50+.
Professor Tiedemann has authored over 185 research publications that are cited over 34,000 times, and was a member of the development committee for the 2020 World Health Organization Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines. She is committed to conducting impactful research that improves the lives of older people across the world.
