Trien Ly
Principal, William Buck

Considering each perspective is crucial to creating positive results in both life and business. From a refugee background, I have a deep respect and appreciation for the people and experiences that come into my life. Raised by my family to have a strong work ethic, I believe you should always treasure your luck, because if you don’t, you may just lose it! With an approachable, considerate and understanding manner, I am passionate about my work and live by the philosophy that ‘you spend two thirds of your life awake and more than half of that time at work, so you should spend it doing what you love and with people you care about’. I am a disciplined and proactive advisor. A qualified Chartered Accountant, my areas of expertise include taxation and business advisory services to health sector professionals, specialists and other practices. Prior to becoming a business advisor, I had a ten-year career as a Biomedical Engineer. I have strong family links in the health sector, including owning a family-run General Practice, ensuring I have a unique understanding of the different stages in a medical practitioner’s career and am kept up to date with news affecting them. I understand that my clients may be time poor, so I am always on the front foot in proactively communicating and keeping in touch with them.
