The 2020 Paediatrics masterclass series is delivered by the Queensland Children’s Hospital in partnership with RACGP Queensland. This series is designed to help you improve the health outcomes of your paediatric patients. Webinar 2/6 of the Paediatrics masterclass series: The first 2000 days (Part 2) includes paediatric dermatology, with a focus on eczema, and measuring progress (poor growth) in general practice.

Dr Aaron Chambers
General Practitioner

Dr Aaron Chambers has worked in general practice since 2006. He is passionate about family practice, including paediatrics and obstetric care. Dr Chambers is the GP Liaison Officer for Children's Health Queensland, based at Queensland Children's Hospital. In private practice, he consults regularly, and is a healthcare system innovator. Dr Chambers founded Growlife Medical Group, and is a co-founder of Allergy First, Cub Care Paediatric Urgent Care and Telehealth Platform GPConsults.

Dr Genevieve Casey
Consultant Dermatologist

Dr Casey is a consultant dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She completed her medical and dermatology residencies under the tutelage of her father, Dr Terry Casey, at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital. Dr Casey commenced specialist training in NSW, and was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists' Research Fellowship to complete specialist training at Oxford University Hospitals, England. After completing her dermatology training at Adelaide teaching hospitals before a British Society of Paediatric Dermatology Fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology at Birmingham Children's Hospital, England. Dr Casey continues to work in the private practice founded by her father on Wickham Terrace and in Redcliffe, and holds a VMO position at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. She specialises in paediatric dermatology, melanoma and skin cancer management, general inflammatory dermatology, and women’s dermatology.

Dr Tony Prado
Consultant General Paediatrician

Dr Tony Prado is a consultant general paediatrician. He has a large private practice based at the Mater Private Clinic and manages all aspects of general paediatrics. Dr Prado also works publicly at the Queensland Children's Hospital. He is a senior lecturer for all three universities in Southern Queensland and is active in teaching medical students and paediatric trainees. He enjoys working with new parents and believes in the holistic family approach to paediatrics.
