WA: Menopause evening session

This in-person session from 8 April 2025 reviewed the key components of the assessment of women who are perimenopausal or menopausal, including:
- Up to date guidelines and evidence for menopause therapies
- Managing menopause after cancer
- Preventative care at the time of menopause
- What’s new/changing in menopause

Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of current guidelines on the assessment of client experiencing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms considering both the physical and psychological aspects of care
- Identify and address the unique challenges of managing menopause in patients who have had cancer, including management of vasomotor symptoms
- Facilitate preventative care for menopausal patients, including screening, lifestyle interventions and management of medical risk factors
