SA CPR workshop

In-person 18 Jul, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (ACST)

RACGP SA is providing a CPR workshop delivered by St John SA in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

The course will cover the following:
- DRSABCD action plan and responding to emergency situations
- Managing unconscious breathing casualties
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Using a defibrillator (AED)
- Legal issues in first aid
- Infection control.

Date: Saturday 18 July 2026
Time: 9.00 am - 12.00 pm (registration from 8.30 am)
Venue: RACGP SA office, 132 Greenhill Road, Unley

Learning outcomes

Demonstrate the DRSABCD action plan to respond to an emergency situation.
Demonstrate management of unconscious breathing casualties.
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
Demonstrate competency in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
