Presented by Centre for Disease Control Public Health specialists Dr Ashish Yadav and Jayne Porter RN, this annual immunisation update covers:

  • The 2025 influenza vaccination
  • RSV infant and maternal protection programs
  • The Meningococcal B vaccination program

Dr Ashish Yadav
Public Health Physician & Medical Advisor Immunisation & Rheumatic Heart Disease Control Program Centre for Disease Control - Darwin Public Health Division, NT Health

Dr. Ashish Yadav is a Specialist Public Health Physician and a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine who recently completed a PhD in Cardiometabolic Medicine from the University of Western Australia. Post MBBS, he pursued an MD in Community Medicine from India, and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA and has worked in both government and non-governmental organisations in India. In 2022-23, he served as Senior Registrar at the South West Public Health Unit in Bunbury, Western Australia, and worked as Public Health Physician and Acting CDC Coordinator in Alice Springs with NT Health in 2024. Currently, he is contributing his expertise as a Medical Advisor for the Immunisation and Rheumatic Heart Disease Control Program with NT CDC in Darwin. Ashish strives to translate research into impactful public health solutions across diverse communities.
