Future Governance Committee member consultation on proposed governance changes
Webinar 11 Jun, 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM (AEST)
The Future Governance Committee are continuing their work on reviewing our College Constitution and Board governance model, following the member approval of the Committee’s proposed changes in 2025.
In 2026, we’d like to explore further incremental governance changes with members. We’re proposing governance changes to make our College more adaptive and effective by further strengthening the Board and faculties, including:
- FARM chair term.
- GPs in Training faculty chair director term.
- Faculty council member terms.
- Procedural updates to the ballot section of the Constitution.
Some of these changes will require member approval at the Annual General Meeting being held on 19 November 2026.
Come along to hear from the Committee on the proposed changes in further detail and provide your feedback on the changes.
This is your opportunity to help build a stronger RACGP that’s ready to support you in meeting tomorrow’s challenges.
