In addition to the Nationally Consistent Payments from 1 February 2023, supervisors also have access to Supervisor PD payments. To support a smooth transition to GP training, the RACGP will fund four hours professional development up front to be paid in March 2023.

The RACGP Curriculum and Syllabus for Australian General Practice 2022 builds on the strengths of our previous curriculum and introduces a syllabus for general practice training. It is a user-friendly tool for GPs in any stage of their learning journey.

The RACGP and ACCRM have announced a joint venture to oversee joint AGPT training program services: Joint Colleges Training Services. This will include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health strategic health plans and staff, cultural educators, and cultural mentors.
