We’re constantly improving and updating the AMH. Some of the updates in the January 2019 AMH that may interest you:

  • expanded indications, eg denosumab for corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis, ixekizumab for psoriatic arthritis
  • details of sprue-like enteropathy with sartans, dopamine dysregulation syndrome with levodopa or dopamine agonists, and the serious risks of using opioids with pregabalin

AMH Children’s Dosing Companion

The AMH Children’s Dosing Companion is Australia's national independent dosing guide for prescribing and administering medicines to children from birth to 18 years.

The evidence-based and peer-reviewed content provides detailed dosing information to assist health care practitioners in hospital and community settings. Clearly written and concisely laid-out, it offers:

  • detailed dosing information for around 400 drugs
  • drug monographs for over 90% of PBS paediatric prescribing in Australia

AMH Aged Care Companion Book & Online

The AMH Aged Care Companion is a trusted, practical reference for doctors who work with older people. It is especially useful for those practitioners who service aged care facilities.

AMH Aged Care Companion contains information on the management of more than 70 conditions common in older people, including dementia and management of behavioural symptoms, delirium, cardiovascular diseases, fall prevention, osteoporosis, COPD, insomnia, depression and wound management.
