Australian Privacy Principles

Your practice and GP needs to collect information about you and your past and present health, in order to provide you with quality healthcare. In Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) regulates the handling of personal information, including its collection, use and disclosure, as well as information security, access and correction.
