The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners presidential campaign is underway and we want as many RACGP members as possible to take part in the upcoming question and answer event.
Moderated by ABC 774 presenter Virginia Trioli, the virtual Q&A is a great opportunity for members to get to know the candidates and help guide how they will vote.
Audience members have the opportunity to submit questions in advance and then join in on the night and watch as candidates respond to member issues.
Key dates:
· registration for the event is already open and any questions can be submitted right now
· callout for questions closes 7pm Wednesday 12 August 2020
· The Q&A event will occur online at 7pm Monday 17 August 2020.
Questions that are not covered during the Q&A will be provided to candidates for a response. Their answers will be added to the candidates’ webpage after the Q&A.

Voting for RACGP President will open at 12 noon Thursday 20 August 2020 and close at 12 noon Monday 31 August 2020. The successful candidate will be announced Wednesday 2 September 2020.
