GP12 commences on the Gold Coast

GP12, The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) annual conference, will commence at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre today (25 October), running until 27 October 2012.

Today will mark Dr Liz Marles’ official first duties as RACGP President. Officially opening the event, Dr Marles will be joined by Federal Health Minister, Tanya Plibersek at 11.00 am EDST.

Key theme – ‘Leading Primary Care’

The overarching theme of GP12 is ‘Leading primary care’, focusing on practical skills to support general practitioners (GPs) daily practice. This year, there are more than 100 presentations in the conference program with a record number of exhibition booths.
