Australian Medical Council – Expressions of interest for Council position

The Australian Medical Council (AMC) is an independent national standards body for medical education appointed under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 as the external accreditation authority for medicine.

The term of Dr Jules Catt (the postgraduate medical trainee on Council) will expire at the AGM in November 2018. Directors of the AMC are now seeking expressions of interest from registered practitioner members in post-graduate medical training.

The successful candidate will be appointed for a two year term, with the possibility of extension subject to eligibility.

Interested candidates can send their expression of interest form and curriculum vitae to the AMC Company Secretary Karin Oldfield via email, Council@amc.org.au, by close of business Monday 1 October 2018.
