  1. These terms apply to users accessing the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard.
  2. By posting materials to or accessing materials on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and that you agree to comply with them.
  3. These conditions apply together with the RACGP website terms and conditions, in particular those concerning User-Generated Content and Content Standards.

Acceptable and Prohibited Uses

  1. You must only use the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard for lawful purposes and for advertising research relevant to general practitioners.
  2. You must not use the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard for any of the following prohibited purposes:
    1. Advertising false or misleading content;
    2. Infringing any third-party right (including intellectual property rights);
    3. Publishing identified personal information without prior permission of the person concerned;
    4. Distribution or sending communications containing spam, chain letters or pyramid schemes; and
    5. Copying, modifying or distributing any other person’s content without their consent.

Fees & services

  1. Using the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard is free for RACGP members.
  2. The RACGP charges a fee per post for non-RACGP members.  The RACGP will not publish any post until full payment has been received.  Fees are refundable if posts are cancelled prior to their publication.
  3. Each project is published for a period of 90 days.  After such period, your post will be deleted from the GP Research Project Noticeboard and no longer visible unless you request that the post is entended.
  4. The RACGP reserves the right, at its own discretion to refuse or delete any project the RACGP believes is inappropriate or breaching these conditions.  In such circumstances, refunds are payable only in the RACGP’s discretion.

Liability

  1. You are solely responsible for all information you submit to the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard and any consequences that may result from publishing your project on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard.
  2. You indemnify and hold the RACGP harmless for any amounts incurred as a result of any loss, cost, expense, claim, action, demand or proceeding arising, resulting from or in connection with any breach by you of these conditions.

Disclaimer

  1. The RACGP does not guarantee and makes no representations about the minimum numbers of people viewing your project on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard.
  2. The RACGP is not responsible or liable for any refund or compensation in any way, if you are not satisfied with this service.
  3. Publishing your project on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard does not include or imply the RACGP’s endorsement of the research activity.  You must not represent to any person your project’s entry on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard implies RACGP endorsement by virtue of that publishing alone.
  4. Unless otherwise stated, the research projects listed on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard are not conducted by the RACGP, and the RACGP does not support or endorse the results of the research.
  5. The project has been approved for inclusion on the RACGP’s GP Research Project Noticeboard, however unless otherwise stated, this does not constitute ethics approval, endorsement or assessment of the quality of the project, survey or any publication arising from the project.
  6. The RACGP reserves the right to amend these terms (including fees) from time to time. The conditions governing your project are those in force at the time you submit your project to the RACGP.
