The 2020.1 RCE has now finished on schedule. We thank all of our examiners, staff, and of course candidates for their efforts over the last fortnight. Results will be released on 17 December 2020.

All Western Australian candidates have now finished. The last 10 candidates, from Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, are now completing their final four cases in the 2020.1 RCE.

After three rotations, we have now finished the RCE for all candidates from South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

Our second rotation has now completed, with a third group of candidates about to start. The final day of the RCE is progressing on schedule.

RCE day 4 is progressing well. The first group of candidates have now completed their exam.

We are gearing up to deliver day four of the RCE to our borderline candidates. The first of five groups has just started, and we will be finishing earlier today than on the previous three days. Good luck to all the candidates!

The final candidates have now completed day three of the RCE. Thank you to all of our candidates, examiners, role-players and staff for all of your hard work. Now, over to the data teams to collate and standardise marks before determining the invitations to day four.

The final rotation of day three of the RCE will see less than 30 candidates commence their cases in the next few minutes. This final rotation is running to schedule.

RCE still progressing on schedule - 70% of candidates have now completed the first three days of the exam.

Marks are collated and standardised over the next two days before invitations for day four, set to run on 5 November, will be sent by email.

Further detail on this morning's issues: Due to a brief disruption with external internet providers, 12 of the 197 candidates experienced delays of up to 20 minutes. All candidates were reconnected and have now completed their cases, and the next rotation is running on schedule. No further delays are expected for candidates scheduled throughout the day.

All candidates have now reconnected to their sessions and resumed the exam. We expect short delays to affect some candidates scheduled to start at 11:25 am AEDT. Candidates scheduled to start after 2:00 pm AEDT are not expected to be affected by this morning's outage. You should join your Zoom meeting on time, and if your hub is running late, your hub admin will let you know.

We are aware of network issues affecting approximately 20-30 candidates, possibly associated with the Optus broadband network. We are still investigating and will provide further updates.

Congratulations to all of remote clinical exam candidates who've now all completed day two on schedule. Thank you and well done to our examiners and the RACGP team who've been supporting this mammoth event. Day three of the RCE will kick off on Tuesday morning.

Half of the candidates have now finished day two of the RCE. Exam hubs in the eastern and central time zones are now taking lunch, while our hubs in the west are starting a rotation now.
