General Practice Experience Pathway – Exam Eligibility
Practice Experience Program – Specialist Stream Partially Comparable Exam Eligibility
PEP Standard and FSP registrars must submit a complete GPE application by 5:00pm (AEDT) Monday 27 January 2025 to receive an outcome advising whether they meet the experience requirements to enrol for the 2025.2 AKT and KFP.
Applications submitted after this date will not be guaranteed an outcome in time to enrol. Declining to address feedback will result in a delayed outcome.

Important: If you are waiting for a 2024.2 KFP result only, you can now enrol in the 2024.2 CCE without having to pay the exam fee upfront. You'll receive an invoice to make full payment of your CCE fee when results are released.
If you are awaiting results for both the 2024.2 AKT and KFP, you will have the option to Pay Later from Monday, 19 August 2024. Please wait until after this date to complete the enrolment if you wish to use the Pay Later option.
If you choose to use the Pay Later option, you must complete the payment by Thursday, 26 September 2024.

All candidates who enrol in a Fellowship exam after 1 January 2019 have three years to complete their candidacy. If you have enrolled in an exam since 2019.1, you can track your journey to Fellowship in the ‘My candidacy portal’.

Payment is made online at the time of enrolment via credit card.
Financial hardship
Candidates are encouraged to enrol into an examination as soon as possible after enrolments open, and to not wait until the end of the enrolment period. Any candidate experiencing financial hardship may make a request for an alternative payment arrangement by submitting an Application for Special Consideration for Financial Hardship via email to examinations@racgp.org.au.
