Accreditation Policy
|
Clause 4.2 has been amended to clarify Training Sites must be fully or interim accredited for training for AGPT and FSP registrars.

Previously the scope of accredited required was not clear. This amendment clarifies Training Sites must be accredited for training to allow a registrar to train at the site.

Dispute, Reconsideration and Appeals Policy
|
Sub clause to 5.1.i has been added make an exception to the standard 10 business days for disputes related to involuntary withdrawal– meaning Registrar will get 20 business days to dispute in the case of involuntary withdrawal.

There was inconsistency between the Withdrawal Policy and this policy relating to the time allowed for a dispute of an involuntary withdrawal. Therefore, this clause has been added to ensure consistency between policies.

Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience Policy
|
Clause 8 related to RPLE for Rural Generalist Fellowship has been updated.
|
Previously, it was not clear the recency required for the Rural Generalist Fellowship requirements. This has now been clarified and a clause added to outline additional evidence required to remonstrate maintained of knowledge and skills, if the requirement was completed more than 5 calendar years prior to the RPLE application.
It has also been clarified for ARST and Core-Emergency Medicine training recency of practice must be demonstrated.

Training Program Requirements Policy
|
Clause 2.1.ii has been amended to clarify the scope.
|
The change is to reflect the policy applies to Post-Fellowship GP’s training towards or seeking RPLE for the RACGP Rural Generalist Fellowship.

Clause 4.3.vii.1 has been amended to clarify the Program Time requirements for those working towards Fellowship of the RACGP.
|
Previously it was unclear the Program Time requirements for those who are not training towards Dual Fellowship or the RACGP Rural Generalist Fellowship.
|
Updated clause 4.3.vii.a.2 to state dual pathway registrars not training towards have 5 years rather than 4 years as previously published.

This was made in error and there will be no change the training time caps as published in current policies.

Added clause 4.3.ix to include the Program Time requirements for post-Fellowship GP’s undertaking RACGP Rural Generalist Training.

Previously, the Program Time requirements had not been published in the policy, though it had always been the case. It has now been included for clarity.

Removed (MMM 1) from clause 4.4.iii
|
The reference to MMM 1 in the clause could be misleading to what is allowable to meet the training location requirements. Not all inner metropolitan areas are MMM 1, some may be MMM 2 and may not contribute to the training location requirements. Training teams will be able to provide support to Registrars support to identify if their training location will meet the requirements.

Clause 4.4.iv.c has been broadened and changed to RACGP as being responsible for rural pathway transfers.
