Policy Update Notice: Academic Misconduct Policy

We have reviewed the policy for general nomenclature and clarity.

We have clarified that business days counted in line with the RACGP national office.

• Aligning business days nationally ensures timelines are implemented in a fair manner.

• Parties involved in an Academic Misconduct must adhere to the timelines in accordance with national office business days.

Clause 4.2.ii has been added to clarify that the Misconduct Officer may dismiss an Academic Misconduct Report (AMR) without notifying the subject under certain circumstances.

Clause 4.4.iv has the added requirement that the Misconduct Officer must inform the subject of the AMR if it has been redirected.
